NBC Care Connection: a ministry of presence
What is this? This is a ministry at North Beaver Creek that pairs up a care connection member with another person who may like some company once a month. The care connection member will be interviewed, screened and trained before they are matched up. Once matched up, they serve for 12 months visiting once a month for 30 minutes to an hour each visit. During the visit they may bring Sunday bulletins, the Christ in Our Homes devotional and other news from Church and they will offer to pray with the person being visited. They also bring listening and confidential ears for visiting. The 2017 Care Connectors are: Angie B., Dena G., Fran I. and Charlene S. Please pray for them as they begin this ministry. Through out the year, they put together these expectations for themselves:
